Balvenie Doublewood 12 YO 40 Abv 700ml
Balvenie Doublewood 12 Years Old is a single malt whiskey that has been given
its individual character by ageing in two types of casks. During maturation, the
whiskey moves from traditional oak casks to sherry casks. Ageing in traditional
barrels gives the drink a soft character, and sherry barrels give depth and
fullness of taste.
Each bottle of whiskey is unique, with the aim of more thorough quality control,
Balvenie is produced in limited quantities.
Colour: Whiskey golden amber colour.
Taste: Whiskey has a bright, soft, sweet taste with hints of cinnamon, a hint of
nutty sweetness and a delicate hint of sherry. The finish is long and warm.
Aroma: Whiskey has an original sweetish aroma with hints of sherry, vanilla and honey.
Whiskey is recommended to be consumed in its pure form with ice, as well as with

Highlands, Scotland- Smooth, rich, and well rounded; the epitome of Dalmore style. Aromas of orange marmalade, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Notes of mandarin, vanilla, ginger, and crushed apples on the palate. Finishes with Christmas spice and oak. Matured for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks.
Taste Notes:
NOSE Soft and very approachable, with dried fruit, hazelnuts and dry spiciness.

An outstanding single malt matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and finessed in rare and aged oloroso sherry casks. Dalmore 12 is aged for the first nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, before half is transferred to ex-oloroso sherry casks for the final three years. The result is a whisky with a combination of sweetness and rich, sherried flavours. Seville oranges, dried fruits and hints of vanilla pod on the palate. Roasted cofee and dark chocolate in the end
